Description

518-21-118 Building 78 Roof Replacement Construction Procurement Number: 36C24124B0041 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. No response is required for this notice. An invitation for bids (IFB) will be posted on or about March 13, 2024, with an expected proposal due date of April 16, 2024. The Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (Bedford VAMC), located at 200 Springs Road in Bedford, MA, has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract for Project Number 518-21-118 Building 78 Roof Replacement. The project consists of replacement of approximately 24,000 square feet of roofing on Building 78 at the Bedford VAMC. The scope of work (SOW) is for contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Building 78 Roof Replacement, approximately 24,000 SF of TPO membrane roofing on Building 78, at the Bedford, MA VAMC, as required by drawings and specifications. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 and the size standard is $19 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
