- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Anacomp, Inc. to provide Digitization of Service Treatment Record (STR) Support Services to the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED). The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Anacomp, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures - a sole source acquisition using simplified procedures for the acquisition of commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 561410. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures - a sole source acquisition using simplified procedures for the acquisition of commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 28 February 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
