Description
Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) � Ft. Knox intends to award on a sole source basis a contract to the Greater Tampa Bay area Council, Boy Scouts of America, Camp Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation located at 1201 Boy Scout Camp Rd, Lake Wales FL, 33898. This contract shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, lodging, facilities, tools, materials, supervision, meal services, all services and support shall be co-located for a maximum of 400 Cadets and 70 Cadre during each of the two JCLC cycles from 3-6 June 2024 and 10-13 July 2024. The contractor shall make available training and recreational facilities (rappel equipment, High and Low COPES training, leadership reaction course, obstacle course, 24-hour medical coverage facilities and swimming area). The Contractor shall also provide office space for the camp operations center from 3-6 June 2024 and 10-13 July 2024, to include cleaning supplies. The contractor shall provide the minimum personnel to support different training venues to conduct safe training. The contractor shall also provide two (2) certified lifeguards for drown-proof training, kayaking, rubber boats and canoeing, trained and qualified personnel to support COPE�s, Rappelling, Aquatics, Land Navigation and four (4) full-time nurses or EMTs for 24- hour First Aid Station. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 7 March 2024, 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time (ET), the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 7 March 2024, 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time (ET) to MICC - Fort Knox, Cara Johnson at cara.j.johnson.civ@army.mil Responses shall include the following: 1. Company name and address. 2. Statement of interest meeting all requirements listed above. 3. A synopsis of the contractor's capabilities. 4. CAGE code or DUNS number. 5. Point of Contact name and phone number.
