SOLICITATION 70Z03024QCLEV0043 - U.S. COAST GUARD STATION NIAGARA FLOORING ASBESTOS ABATEMENT PROJECT In accordance with industry standards, code, and best practice, the contractor will remove/abate all ACM material (green tiles and black mastic are confirmed ACM).� Contractor shall ensure all ACM has been removed and the area is safe for Coast Guard personnel and flooring contractors. This includes removal of any dust generated from the project, that may contain ACM. ��Asbestos testing shall be completed prior to, during, and upon completion of work. �This includes, but is not limited to: air, bulk, and wipe samples.� Testing shall be conducted within the space containing ACM, areas adjacent to the space, and the space immediately below where any flooring has been removed, or debris has fallen from the overhead. �The Contractor will remove all debris.� All hazardous materials shall be disposed of IAW applicable federal, local, and state laws. �Contractor will supply all necessary tools, equipment, and labor required to complete project.� While not required, all contractors are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to bidding on project; the Contracting Officer can coordinate site visits as applicable.� Note: The ACM is only partially exposed and additional flooring/interferences will need to be removed to expose the remaining ACM. All ACM flooring will need to be removed so the galley flooring subfloor can be replaced. Site visits are highly encouraged and recommended for the development of an accurate quote. The period of performance is 12MAR2024-11APR2024. This procurement is estimated to be less than $25,000.00. The applicable NAICS is 562910 (Remediation Services) with a Small Business Size Standard of $25.0M. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings will be available for download exclusively from the Internet in approximately seven days at this website. THE DUE DATE FOR OFFERS WILL BE ESTABLISHED UPON ISSUANCE OF THE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on SAM.gov.
