IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NOTE: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED SERVICE DISABILED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES and/or WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The National Park Service (NPS), Northern Rockies MABO Contracting Office seeks to determine the availability and capability of potential SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS, and/or WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES for the services below. The information received as a result of this market research will be considered solely for the purpose of supporting a potential acquisition. The NPS does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. Sources Sought No.: 140P1424Q0034 Project Name: Purchase and Delivery of Chip Sealing Chips to Yellowstone National Park Cover material shall meet the requirements of the following table of gradations. Blended and washed. Aggregation Gradation Table: Sieve Size Percent Passing by Weight 3/8"" 99% No. 4 15/30% No. 8 0/5% No. 200 0/2% - The composite aggregate must not have adherent films of clay, vegetable matter, frozen lumps, or other extraneous matter that prevents thorough coating with bituminous material. Bituminous material must remain adhered to the material upon contact with water. No combination of shale, clay, coal, or soft particles shall exceed 1.5 percent. - The material shall have a wear not to exceed 30 percent at 500 revolutions - A minimum of 70 percent by weight of the coarse aggregate for Grades 1A through 4A must have at least one fractured face. A minimum of 70 percent by weight of the coarse aggregate must have at least one fractured face. Estimated Period of Performance: May-July 2024 Instructions for Interested Parties, Capabilities: If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization. Include your firm's name, UEI Number, CAGE Code, and socioeconomic group information in submissions responding to this notice; and 2) Detailed description of capability addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Responses shall be submitted by email only to the following email address: colton_nelson@nps.gov. Responses are to be received no later than 07:00 AM MS on MONDAY, 4 MARCH 2024. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought.
