- Description
- The U.S. Government, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) California, is seeking information to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and other items and non-personal service necessary to complete biological and cultural survey in accordance with the attached performance work statement. The anticipated period of performance is 365 days from the date of award. The requirement to conduct a detailed GIS topographic survey and inventory and inventory of existing infrastructure (riser/pipe/ditch invert grades/etc.). GIS survey information would be used to produce a topographic map for the acreage. Using this collected survey information, the contractor would product produce a concept design map for the acreage, estimate cubic yardage of material to be moved for wetland restoration endeavors, and supply estimates for required wetland restoration including water control infrastructure and other construction components. This is only a Sources Sought Synopsis and is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Responses to these sources sought synopsis will be used for a market survey analysis to determine interested parties and if the contemplated acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition, total small business set-aside or further set aside for a socio-economic business. Any information provided by industry to the Government because of this source sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect cost or charges to the Government will arise because of contractor submission of response or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industry responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition plan and future RFQ. This acquisition type is anticipated as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Interested parties should email their information and include the following information in their response: a) Business name, address, Unique Entity ID (UEI), size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (i.e., HUBZone; 8(a), etc.), point of contact, email address, company website and phone number. b) Does 541370 Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) services seem to be appropriate for this type of work outlined in the attached draft Performance Work Statement. c) After review of the attached performance work statement please provide and question and/or comments? d) Would your company be interested in submitting a quote for these services on a future Request for Quote (RFQ). e) Capability Statement providing information regarding Topographic mapping and surveying services. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Land Management in any manner. All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice no later than 12:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, March 06, 2024. The information provided in this announcement is all information the Government is willing to share at this time. The attached Performance Work Statement is a ""draft"" version, if a solicitation is issued interested parties will be responsible to review the ""final"" Performance Work Statement prior to quote submission. It is interested parties� responsibility to ensure any revisions are understood. 52.204---System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required prior to award of any contract. Lack of registration in SAM will make an offeror ineligible for the resultant task order. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
