- Description
- The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors interested in submitting proposals for the manufacture and deliver Light Emitting Diode (LED) Marine Lanterns for USCG Waterway Operations Product Line (WOPL) used by Aids to Navigation (ATON) units across the U. S. Coast Guard that meet the requirements identified in the Specification for Fabrication of Light Emitting Diode (LED) Marine Lanterns; Specification No. 506. These specifications include certain measurements, optical performance, power and control systems, service life and maintenance, sizes, and mass, mounting provisions, and environmental conditions requirements. In addition, the contractor is required to deliver the Lanterns in approved packaging to various U.S. Coast Guard location worldwide as requirements arise.� Lantern types below may include four different color combinations, and AIS Sync, GPS, and Battery accessory Upgrades: Standalone LED Lanterns Self-Contained LED Lanterns (large/small) Low, Medium, High, Ultra-High Intensity Standalone LED Lighthouse Lanterns Standalone LED Range Lanterns (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 module type) Standalone LED Range Lanterns (1, 2, and 3 module type) with spreader lenses See Specification:� No. 506, Revision 4 This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey announcement seeking companies that can provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, facilities, transportation, and supervision for the LED Marine Lanterns.� The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation resulting in the award a Requirements Type contract with fixed-price delivery orders.� The contract will include an Economic Price Adjustment for diesel fuel. The anticipated period of performance is for a base year and four option years with an expected start date on/or before August 2024.� The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 334511 � Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. �The Small Business Size Standard is 1,350 employees.� A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought notice (i.e. if enough small business interest indicates that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competition purposes).
