- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office � Pacific, Joint Base Lewis McChord Health Contracting Branch is issuing this sources sought notice for informational purposes only. This notice is a means of conducting market research to identify industry�s capabilities in supplying two of Globus Medical Inc.�s Excelsius GPS Robotic Navigation Systems (medical equipment). For additional information regarding the technical specifications, please refer to the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). This sources sought notice is not a solicitation for quotations, proposals nor invitation for bids. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not be compensated. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged. The Government will not evaluate the information received nor provide comments or feedback. Your response to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities and qualifications statement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation nor award a contract under this announcement. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE).� It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Project Background This action is for the procurement of two minimally invasive surgical robot systems for performing delicate spinal surgery within Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF). The contractor shall supply two spinal robotic systems to support DHA mission requirements. One system to be delivered to Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington and one system to be delivered to Mike O�Callaghan Military Medical Center (MOMMC) in Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The Excelsius GPS Robotic Navigation System will be utilized in the Sterile Processing Department at each MTF. Required Capabilities In order to provide the required equipment, any company considered must be an authorized distributor of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). �Please provide authorization letter with your response to this sources sought notice. Additional detail is provided in the DRAFT SOW attached to this announcement. If your organization has the potential capacity and capabilities to perform these contract requirements, please provide the following information: Organization Name, CAGE code, Unique Entity ID number and Letter or Information Supporting Authorization by OEM to sale their equipment. Any applicable brochures or company capability material may also be submitted.� Eligibility The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The product service code is 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond.
