- Special Notice Special Notice Page 4 of 4 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 4 DESCRIPTION Special Notice Notice of Intent to Sole Source PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to award a single-source, firm fixed price, non-personal services contract with: Minburn Technology Group 9716 Amon Chapel Road Great Falls, Virginia, 22066 United States ueiSAM: WN8JFVZTBCA5 This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Central Arkansas Healthcare System located in Little Rock, AR has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, transportation, parts, test equipment, tools, software and expertise necessary to maintain their current Biopoint Patient Identification Wristband System within 2200 Fort Root Dr. NLR, AR 72114 and 4300 W 7th St. Little Rock, AR 72005. Based on market research, it has been determined that the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) were acquired by Advarra and are the only servicer with the qualifications and capability to perform the required services due to the proprietary nature of the system. Advarra has a partnership with Minburn Technology Group as the sole SEPW distributor of the Bio-Optronics for the VA-MC, Little Rock, AR: John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotations, or expressions of interest. Interested parties may convey their interest and capabilities by responding to this requirement, solely via email to Contract Specialist Sheliah Saunders, sheliah.saunders@va.gov. Interested parties must convey their organization s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition, including a rationale for why you should be considered. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. The government reserves the right to vet/verify any documentation submitted with the OEM to certify its authenticity. Responses are due no later than the solicitation response date/time/zone annotated above. Please reference 36C25624Q0499 in the subject line of your email response. Late responses will not be accepted. No telephone inquiries will be accepted nor will phone calls be returned. Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
