- Description
- This is a Firm Fixed Price supply-type IDIQ contract, competed under Solicitation #W909MY-23-R-0002, with a six (6) Year Ordering Period consisting of a two (2) year base period and four (4) single year option periods. If funding is available and if the Government decides to exercise the four (4) one-year optional ordering periods that are available, the end of the period of performance will go through 15 February 2030. Automated Installation Entry (AIE) is the Department of the Armys enterprise Installation electronic Physical Access Control system (ePACS) for authenticating personnel against multiple authoritative State and Federal databases. Its an interoperable and integrated solution that supports standardization and automation of Installation Access Control Point (IACP) operations generating efficiencies across the Army Security Enterprise. AIE is an Unclassified Information System that optimizes guard force utilization, increases pedestrian and vehicle throughput with enhanced security, and allows for adaptation of increased authentication requirements at high threat levels. The AIE-Next contract will procure, field, and sustain AIE systems at approximately 92 potential new CONUS and OCONUS Government Installations and Facilities. AIE-Next scope includes sustainment and technology refresh for AIE-3 systems previously deployed to 98 Army CONUS Installations 2016-2024 under contract W911QY-15-D-0047. AIE-Next will build upon the AIE-3, Version 4 baseline configuration with insertion of required emerging COTS HW/SW capabilities while maintaining existing external interfaces. The system will be interoperable with other DoD-approved Physical Security access control systems and authoritative databases as required.
