- THIS NOTICE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THE SOURCE SOUGHT OR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT for the Richmond VA Medical Center located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249 VA 24153. Information collected during this Sources Sought may be used in a set-aside. If a solicitation is issued, the Government will do so in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-02, effective 12/22/2023. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 339113. The NAICS size is $40.0 million. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for small business status must be registered with the SBA at http://web.sba.gov/pro-net/ and meet the requirements of FAR 19.102. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for veteran-owned small business status must be registered with the VIP at https://sba.va.gov/ as an SDVOSB or VOSB. A Contractor that proposes to provide a supply that is not manufactured by their organization (nonmanufacturer) shall meet the requirements of FAR 19.102(f). Contractors that deem themselves capable of meeting the requirement shall provide the below information to, Contract Specialist Audrey.wooten@va.gov no later than Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 10 am., EST, referencing 36C24624Q0355 Responses shall include (1) Business Name and Address, (2) DUNS and UEI, (3) GSA/FSS/NAC Contract Number, if applicable (4) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, and E-mail Address (5) SAM # and NAICS code (6) Business Size SMALL or LARGE (7) Type of Business: service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned small business, 8a, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc. (8) A concern that is not a manufacturer of the supply shall provide the manufacturers name and size standard. If the concern is the manufacturer and the sole distributor, please provide documentation to that effect. The contractor must be registered with https://www.sam.gov. To be considered SDVOSB/VOSB must be registered in SBA http://web.sba.gov/pro-net/ Supplies are to include only a Trade Agreements Act, Free Trade Agreement Act or other covered trades act and Buy America Act compliant items. Items that are not TAA/BAA compliant must be identified by the Contractor should the contractor choose to offer a quote if an RFQ is published. FOB is Destination. Shipping must not exceed $250.00. The Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a request for an Autoclave sterilizer system to be delivered to Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center Activations, c/o IRIS Solutions 5313 Patriots Highway Fredericksburg, VA 22408. The Autoclave model 341L Sterilizer and Compactor and its associated parts are required by the facility to safely and efficiently manage the infectious waste produced by the facility in the treatment of patients. (no gray market items accepted) Contract Title. Waste Sterilizer and Compactor for Fredericksburg HCC Background/Dates of Service (Period of Performance). The Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center is requesting a steam sterilizer and trash compactor for biohazardous waste and related delivery/installation services at the new Fredericksburg Health Care Center from February,2024. Delivery Address: Equipment should be delivered to the project site at the following address: Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center Activations, c/o IRIS Solutions 5313 Patriots Highway Fredericksburg, VA 22408 Scope. The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide a steam sterilizer and trash compactor for biohazardous waste and related delivery/installation as needed by RICVAMC. The vendor will respond and be onsite ready to deliver services at the requested service time. Specific Tasks. LIST IN BULLET FORM THE SPECIFIC ITEMS REQUIRED FROM THE CONTRACTOR, SUCH AS PARTS, LABOR, COVERAGE HOURS, RESPONSE TIME, GUARANTEED UPTIME REQUIREMENTS, ETC. Provide a steam sterilizer and trash compactor for biohazardous waste and all related accessories Provide delivery and installation services for this equipment. Provide quality assurance checks and product warranties for the equipment and accessories Dispose of all trash, packing material, installation waste/trash and remove off-site. The vendor will provide any tools or materials required to deliver equipment and install equipment. The vendor will provide all materials and items needed to transport throughout the facility without marking up or damaging floors and walls.
