- Description
- NASA/AFRC has a requirement for the Global Hawk Skyrange Program Demonstration Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical Support.� The contractor shall perform engineering, manufacturing, and technical support services in support of the operation and maintenance and required modifications to the Global Hawk air vehicles, Ground Control Stations, Ground Support Equipment, and spares/repairs. � NASA/AFRC intends to issue a sole source modification to Contract No. 80AFRC21D0002 �to acquire the services from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) due to the original design and modification drawings being proprietary to NGSC. NGSC is the air vehicle original equipment manufacturer and Ground Control System integration, and has unique knowledge of the Global Hawk derivative aircraft and ground systems. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.�� � Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Roxana Romero at roxana.l.romero@nasa.gov and Bernie Cenidoza at bernard.c.cenidoza@nasa.gov not later than 12:00PM PST on February 20, 2024.� Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
