Description

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Army Contracting Command � Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award an Undefinitized Contract Action for a new Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract to Textron Systems (CAGE code 97384) for the design of one ARV Medium Caliber Autocannon Prototype Vehicle (ARV-30 PV) in support of the Program Manager Light Armored Vehicles. ACC-DTA also intends to solicit associated options to include, ARV-30 PV build, ARV-30 System Integration Laboratory, ballistic/blast hull structure with add-on armor D-kits, ballistic coupons, Purchase/Title of the ARV-30 PV and Purchase/Title of the SIL. For the proposed contract action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, for consideration by ACC-DTA. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
