- Description
- The intent of the announcement is to identify sources that are qualified Small Business concerns, including Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned, and Veteran Owned firms capable of performing at least 50% of the work required for Maintenance Services for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) Eastern Region.� The Government may use the information obtained from this notice to gain insight into industry capabilities and other market information. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.�� The Government proposes to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract with a one (1) year base plus four (4) one-year option periods, for a potential five (5) year contract period of performance.� This requirement is to provide routine (preventative) and non-routine (corrective) maintenance services of eighteen (18) NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter Systems in various sites within the State of Ohio.� Services include 24/7 coverage of sites, annual routine signal strength tests, corrective maintenance on a degraded site within 48 hours of notice and technical services as needed by the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811210- Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $34 Million.� A vendor�s response to this synopsis shall be limited to five (5) pages and shall include the following information: Firm�s name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address. Interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. Percentage of scope firm is able to independently perform (See draft PWS for full scope requirements). Business size in relation to NAICS code 811210 and Socio-economic status, if applicable. Firm�s Joint Venture information, if applicable existing and potential.� Capabilities statement addressing your firm�s ability to provide the following services: Capacity to service and maintain all eighteen (18) NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter Systems within the State of Ohio Ability to meet the required service schedule Expertise in routine and preventative maintenance services Interested vendors shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00PM (PST).
