Description
PURPOSE OF POSTING: In accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.603(a) and VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 836.603, the Cincinnati VA Medical Center (VAMC) is requesting SF 330s from A/E firms wishing to be considered for Government contracts for upcoming projects. The below list accurately reflects the current projects, but the VA reserves the right to update or change the list based on mission need: Project # Project Name Project Description 539-25-201 Replace Water Systems in Path and Lab Preparation of drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract in order to renovate approximately 16,150 Gross Square Feet (GSF) of Building No 1 for the Pathology Lab. 539-25-202 Install Card Readers Preparation of drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract in order to install badge readers in key areas throughout the facility. 539-25-203 Correct AHU 25 Deficiencies and Replace Building 15 Ductwork Preparation of drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract in order to renovate approximately 2000 Gross Square Feet (GSF) of Building No 1 and 1 for the Correct AHU 25 Deficiencies and Replace Building 15 Ductwork. 539-25-204 Renovate FTD Basement for Police Preparation of drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract to renovate approximately 800 Gross Square Feet (GSF) of Building No 64 for the expanded police service area in the basement at the Ft. Thomas Campus. 539-25-205 Upgrade SSTV System Preparation of drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract in order to upgrade the existing Security Surveillance Television (SSTV) system throughout the facility. 539-25-206 Correct Fire Dampers The work involved will relocate or replace failing, misplaced, inaccessible, or otherwise non-compliant fire dampers discovered during the most recent 6-year Fire Damper Inspection of Building 1 at the Cincinnati VAMC. 539-25-207 Remodel Basement Preparation of drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract in order to renovate up to approximately 4000 Gross Square Feet (GSF) of basement administrative areas in Building No. 1. 539-25-208 Remodel Learning Exchange Preparation of drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for all facets of work and trades necessary to facilitate award of a construction contract to renovate approximately 2,850 Gross Square Feet (GSF) of Building No. 1 for the Remodel Learning Exchange project. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes 541310 and 541330 are applicable to this posting. Product Service Codes (PSCs) C1AA, C1DA, C1DB, C1DZ and C1EB are applicable to this posting. If this process needs to be used for a longer term, IAW FAR 36.603(d), any established data file will be reviewed and updated at least once per year. If this happens the CO will request the updated files. No updated files will be accepted unless requested. APPRAISING FIRM S QUALIFICATIONS: IAW with FAR 36.603(b)&(c), to be considered for architect-engineer contracts, a firm must file with the appropriate office or board their Standard Form 330. These qualification statements will be classified with respect to the following: (1) Location; (2) Specialized experience; (3) Professional capabilities; and (4) Capacity, with respect to the scope of work that can be undertaken. A firm s ability and experience in computer-assisted design will be considered, when appropriate. SELECTION OF FIRMS: As project are received, the evaluation board will review the firm s classifications and evaluate them IAW FAR 36.602-(1)(a) and VA Acquisition Manual (VAAM) M836.602-1. The evaluation board will recommend the three (3) most qualified firms to the Selection Authority (VAAM M836.602-4) for that specific project s scope. If approved by the Selection Authority, the evaluation board will move forward with IAW FAR 36.602-2(c)&(d) and M836.7101(b). If the final selection report is approved by the Selection Authority, The Contracting Officer will move forward and conduct negotiations IAW FAR 36.606.
