- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION (Compact Ultracold Freezer) (i)����������� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)���������� This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� Submit written quotes on RFQ Number 1333MF24Q0006. (iii)��������� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-06 (DEC 2023) (Deviation 2024-06) (JAN 2024). (iv)�������� This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted and open to all sources.� The associated NAICS code is 333415.� The small business size standard is 1,250.� (v)��������� This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item(s)/services: (Supply) CLIN 0001 � Base Year Compact Ultracold Freezer, CO2 backup system with installed remote for temperature monitoring at the Southeast Fisheries Science Center Marine Mammal & Turtle Division at 1933 W. Hutchinson Ave, Crowley, LA 70526, in accordance with the Statement of Need. (Service) CLIN 1001 �4001 Option Year 1-4 Services, non-personal, to provide all labor, equipment and materials (unless otherwise provided herein) necessary for annual preventative maintenance for inspection and cleaning of vent and air filter; check of installation environment, electronic display and wiring, temperature sensor and alarm, temperature monitoring system, CO2 backup system, inner doors/lids/alignments, compressor, cooling fan and insulation in accordance with the Statement of Need. (vi)�������� Description of requirements is as follows: See attached Statement of Need which applies to Base Year and all Option Years 1 � 4 INVOICES TO BE BILLED AFTER PRODUCT IS DELIVERED. PROVIDE MONTHLY AND ANNUAL PRICING FOR EACH BASE AND OPTION YEAR. INVOICE SUBMITTALS ARE DUE AT THE START OF THE OPTION YEAR. QUOTE PRICING MAY BE PROVIDED ON ATTACHED SF18 FORM OR ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD. (vii)������� Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance: Period of performance shall be: Base: Freezer shall be delivered within 60 days after receipt of order Option Year 1 maintenance and service: One year following receipt of unit and acceptance Option Year 2 continued maintenance and service following option year 1 Option Year 3 continued maintenance and service following option year 2 Option Year 4 continued maintenance and service following option year 3 Delivery and Place of Performance is Marine Mammal & Turtle Division 1933 W. Hutchinson Ave, Crowley, LA 70526.
