- SUMMARY: Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify vendors that are interested in and capable of providing to replace the existing oil cooler on a 4160 500k Generator. All equipment provided will be subject to VAMC review, determination, and approval. Location Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at: 1 Medical Center Dr. Clarksburg WV 26301 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor and parts necessary to complete services defined in the Description of Work for the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center (VAMC). This contractor is to furnish and install a new oil cooler on generator listed below, located at building 17, 1 Medical Center Dr. Clarksburg WV 26301. Make- Kato 4160 500 kW. Model- 500SS9D Serial No- 73199 Contractor will provide a 500 KW Temporary Generator capable of 4160 volts. Contractor will provide cable, transformer, and labor necessary to wire 500KW. 4160V generator, and place on standby. Contractor will remove and contain existing coolant from system. Contractor will remove and properly dispose of existing oil cooler. Contractor will prepare and clean assembly area daily. Contractor will provide and install a new oil cooler with all seals and gaskets. Contractor will remove and dispose of existing temperature gauge and sender unit. Contractor will provide and install new temperature gauge and sender unit. Contractor will check for proper operation of all installed items. Special Emphasis: Work will be completed on weekends and after 4:30 PM. Contractor must complete work within 72 hours after commencement of work. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities, and qualifications necessary to provide the services required for the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center (VAMC). Please respond to this RFI/Sources Sought 36C24524Q0248 with your: Business name (including Unique Entity ID (SAM.gov) Business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and Person of contact (including telephone number & email address). Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing these types of services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar facilities. Available contract vehicles (GSA FSS, etc.) for use by Department of VA (include applicable NAICS) Brief Summary of categories of services that your company can/cannot provide. Certification(s) / Licenses for meeting the local requirements to provide these services at the DC VAMC (if applicable) Confirmation that your organization has the capability & expertise to meet the performance requirements while complying with applicable limitations in subcontracting by responding to the questions below with your response: Do you intend to self-perform this effort? If you are located outside the immediate area, how will you self-perform? Or do you intend to subcontract work under this contract? If you intend to subcontract work under this contract, how will you ensure compliance with the limitations on subcontracting?
