Description

Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment is to change block 10 from 100% Woman Owned Small Business set-aside to 100% Small Business set-aside and to extend the due date for quote to 16 February 2024, 11:00am est. Amendment 0001: The purpose of this Amendment is to provide answers to questions and extend the due date for quotes to 23 January 2024 at 11:00am est. Question 1: Is it possible for you to provide the spindle cross section drawing and the corresponding parts listing from the machine manual? Government Response: The spindle cross section drawing cannot be provided. Question 2: Which spindle needs rebuilding? The machine has two, a main spindle and a sub spindle. Government Response: The main spindle. See the attached amended rfq. MCI-East Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office aboard MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for �Lathe Spindle Rebuild & Installation�. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price requirements type contract.� The proposed acquisition is� 100% set aside for Women Owned Small Business concerns.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures.� The solicitation, (No. M6700124Q1016) will be posted and made available on SAM.gov.� It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.� Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://sam.gov.� Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well.� All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).� Contractors must be registered with Wide Area Workflow at https://piee.eb.mil in order to invoice the Government and accept payment. All questions relating to this requirement must be addressed to the Contracting Department, Purchasing Agent via email to ann.sanford@usmc.mil by 1:00 P.M. (EDT) 08 January 2024, which will be answered by the posting of an amendment.� Any questions received after the stated deadline will not be addressed. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation and will be considered.
