Description
Sources Sought for IDIQ Contract for Architect and Engineering Design Services Indefinite Delivery\Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Open End Contract to provide professional Architectural-Engineering (AE) Title I Design Services, Title II Services and Other AE Services to include incidental related work, in support of Government administered construction contracts; facility and installation investigations and research; and planning studies; at Sheppard AFB, TX (Wichita County); the Sheppard AFB Recreation Annex at Lake Texoma, Whitesboro, TX (Grayson County); and Frederick Auxiliary Airfield, Frederick, OK (Tillman County). 82d Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing the following: Description of Work: The AE shall: Have capability to execute multiple project designs concurrently on an �as needed� basis. Furnish all materials, labor, superintendence, equipment, transportation, ancillary services, and incidentals necessary to complete the requirements of each project design. Function as professional advisor to assist the Government in understanding and meeting project objectives and requirements. � Projects will vary by type, scope, and complexity, requiring the use of various and multiple facility design disciplines and related technical services.� Construction of new whole buildings or major renovations requiring all disciplines.� Minor construction (addition/remodel) and maintenance (repair/alteration) of existing real property requiring various combinations of disciplines.� Support of Government in-house designs and other Government IDIQ construction contracts requiring one or more disciplines.� Support of studies, such as life, health, safety analysis. Services provided by the AE will be primarily for execution of sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) type projects. Design services provided within each engineering discipline shall be performed under the direct supervision of state licensed architects and engineers. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information, planning purposes, and market research in accordance with FAR Part 10.� All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisition.� No award will be made from this sources sought.� A solicitation may be available late March\April 2024; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation at this time.� The United States Air Force is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� This acquisition is being considered to be Set-Aside for eligible Small Business concerns.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 and the small business size standard is $25.5 Million.� Period of performance will be for a base year and four (4) follow-on years, estimated to start 1 July 2024.� All interest and qualified sources should notify this office by e-mail.� Any information provided is voluntary.� Telephone calls will not be accepted. ����������� Information sought by the Government includes: Company Information Company name Address Point of contact Telephone and fax number E-mail address Website (if available) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Unique Entity ID Number Socio-Economic status (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran-owned, etc.) From the following list, identify ALL in-house capabilities of your firm: a. Communication g. Environmental, hazardous waste identification and design h. Electrical, building design, fire detection and alarm systems, exterior lighting, and underground distribution. Responses should be submitted electronically to Ms. LeAnn Burrus at �leann.burrus@us.af.mil and Mr. Todd Raines at todd.raines.3@us.af.mil not later than 16 Feb 2024.� Be advised the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this sources sought.� All cost associated with this sources sought will be solely at the expense of the respondents.� Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned.� No basis for a claim against the government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought.
