- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC), Richmond, VA, intends to award a contract for a Philip Patient Information Center (PIC) IX TELEMETRY SYSTEM (and installation) for the for the Richmond VA Medical Center located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, VA 23249 The NAICS code for this requirement is 334510 and business size standard of 1250 Employees. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. VA is required by Public Law 109-461 to give first priority to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside. If insufficient veteran owned and small business response is received to establish the basis for setting this action aside for other than large business participation, then the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to bid. Seeking a potential qualified contractors than can provide the following Brand Name or Equal items (no gray market items accepted) and meet Salient Characteristics: Salient Characteristics Transaction #: Functions to be performed: This is a telemetry system for patient heart monitoring, specifically cardiac electrical impulses, while participating in a rehabilitative clinical program for onsite clinical interpretation. Telemetry is the automatic recording and transmission of data from remote or inaccessible sources to an IT in a monitoring location for analysis. Performance required: Must integrate into currently owned Philips PICIX. Clearly displayed clinical cardiac telemetry system with 5 -wire Electrocardiogram (ECG) lead set with all 12 leads derived in diagnostic export. The system has the ability to review, capture, and export diagnostic quality ECG monitoring. Delivers rapid reliable interpretation of the ECG to determine real time cardiac signal abnormalities. Supports a continuous patient record with existing units in the facility. Essential physical characteristics; Dimensions (if applicable): Table top desktop and display unit; mobile telemetry monitoring units should be no larger than 4X8 .
