- Sources Sought for 142020-24-0021/1305M324R0034 National Weather Service (NWS) Standby Gensets - Preventative Maintenance Title: Sources Sought for a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for National Weather Service (NWS) Standby Gensets - Preventative Maintenance in the Southern Region. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; Market research purposes only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The intent of the announcement is to identify sources that are qualified Small Business concerns, including Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned, and Veteran Owned firms for a new contract for the National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).� Identified sources should be capable of performing the requirements described herein.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The Government proposes to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract for this requirement. See the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) for additional information. The Government will issue a� contract for this requirement contingent upon funding. The term of the contract will be one (1) base year plus four (4) one-year option periods, for a total potential of five years. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 335312 - Motor and Generator Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is 1,250 employees. A vendor�s response to this synopsis shall be limited to three pages and shall include the following information: 1. Firm's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address. 2. Firm's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3. Capabilities Statement addressing your firm�s ability to provide the following services:� Capacity to service and maintain all 38 locations listed in the SOW. Ability to meet the required service schedule. Expertise in servicing and maintaining similar generators. 4. Firm's type of business and business size. 5. Firm's Joint Venture information, if applicable existing and potential. Interested vendors shall respond to the Sources Sought Synopsis no later than February 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM (PST).
