THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.��This pre-solicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes.� The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis.� It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.�� The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).� The PHNSY & IMF intends to solicit to Leonardo DRS Airborne & Intelligence Systems to provide installation, post-installation, retesting, and calibration of modification kits on Advanced Data Acquisition and Control System (ADACS) units onboard a Virginia Class Submarine.�� In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-Q-0021, was posted to the U.S. Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, on 19 January 2024 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement.� We received one capability statement, however the interested party was found to not be technically capable in performing the requirements.� This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a request for proposals.� Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-24-Q-0021 and in accordance with FAR 5.204.� A solicitation is expected to be posted on or about February 16, 2024.�
