- Original Post: The National Geospatial -Intelligence Agency (NGA) is support of the�Component Acquisition Executive (DCQ) seeks information on how�an interested contractor could:� �a. Provide NGA�s Acquisition Workforce (AWF) professionals with introductory and intermediate Risk Management training courses in a virtual (online) learning format that supports such instruction, has audio dial in capabilities and enables screen sharing such as Adobe Connect or Microsoft Teams. b. Provide DCQ with one (1) virtual instructor to deliver the introductory and intermediate level courses. c. In the base and each option year, provide not less than two (2) courses, including one introductory and one intermediate course, and not more than four (4) additional courses which can include a mixture of introductory and intermediate courses or up to four (4) introductory or four (4) intermediate courses dependent upon AWF need The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information on current industry capabilities that would meet the requirements outlined in the attached� Risk Management Statement of Work (SOW) dated 23 January 2024 and Goverment questions. Government Response to Industry Question: SOW Section 7.1 Key Personnel Required Qualifications Vendor: One of the stated mandatory requirements in Section 7.1 calls for a bachelor�s degree or higher in Education, Teaching, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or a related field. We are curious if equivalent professional experience combined with a bachelor�s degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology could also be considered suitable for meeting the qualifications. Specifically, [vendor] has instructors who have extensive experience in project, risk, and construction management in several industries and have incorporated it into classes and courses taught in universities. These instructor-led classes include direct involvement in educational roles, curriculum development, and the application of adult learning principles within the context of risk management. Could you please advise if such a background might be deemed equivalent for the purposes of this requirement? Government response: Equivalent work experience and/or similar degree for the position will be sufficient to meet the requirements.
