- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION; not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to: (1) determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency�s requirements exists, (2) determine if commercial items suitable to meet the agency�s needs are available or could be modified to meet the agency�s requirements, and (3) determine the commercial practices of company�s engaged in providing the needed service or supply. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. Requirement: This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics (DOL-95), Norfolk, VA, to identify sources capable of providing 21 days of direct logistics and direct support, not inclusive of necessary pre- and post- exercise line hauling and barge transport for PSU 309 Mobility Operations for approximately 230 Coast Guard personnel to conduct a Full Mission Profile (FMP) Field Training Exercise (FTX) A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this Sources Sought Notice; the Draft SOW is subject to revisions at the sole discretion of the Government. Interested parties are expected to review this Notice and the draft SOW to familiarize themselves with the requirement. �Anticipated NAICS Code/Size Standard: The applicable NAICS Code is 483113, Freight transportation, deep sea, to and from domestic ports and the size standard is 750 employees. Submission of Information: Companies having capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought notice including commercial market information and company information.� Companies may respond to this Sources Sought Notice via GSA or e-mail to Jennifer.Blackwell@uscg.mil no later than January 30, 2024 at 1:00PM, Eastern with the following information/documentation: 1. Name of Company, Address, and UEI Number. 2. Name of Point of Contact, E-mail Address, and Phone Number. 3. Business size(s) applicable to NAICS Code 483113 / Size Standard 750 employees (from the list below, specify all that apply to your company): 8(a) Small Business SBA-Certified HUBZone Small Business (HUBZone) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Small Business (SB) Large Business (LB) A Capability Statement is not necessary but acceptable. 4. Corporate affiliations, potential joint venture partners, teaming partners, and/or major subcontractor information must be provided with your information. 5. Commercial market information and practices applicable to this supply. 6. Relevancy of Experience: Please list no more than three (3) contracts your company is currently performing (or has completed within the last five (5) years) that are similar in scope to this requirement. Include the contract (including Federal Supply Schedules, if applicable) number, title, contract type, and award amount. 7. A positive statement of your intent to submit an offer as a prime contractor if a solicitation is issued as a result of this Sources Sought Notice.
