- N0016424RWP17 � SYNOPSIS - SOLE SOURCE � NEW PROCUREMENT AND/OR REPAIR OF 4CW, SINGLE DUTY (SD) AND DOUBLE DUTY (DD) SWITCH (SWT) TETRODE TUBES� 5960 � NAICS 334419 Issue Date: 18 January 2024 � Closing Date: 2 February 2024 � 2:00 PM EST ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement to procure new manufacture and/or repair of 4CW, Single Duty (SD) and Double Duty (DD) Switch (SWT) Tetrode Tubes.� This requirement is planned as a non-commercial, Firm-Fixed price (FFP), indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of five (5) years for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS), with an estimated total of $21M. The following is the planned CLIN structure: CLIN 0001: 4CW100000A Rebuild CLIN 0002: 4CW10000A New CLIN 0003: 4CW10000B Rebuild CLIN 0004: 4CW10000B New CLIN 0005: 4CW30000 Rebuild CLIN 0006: 4CW30000 New CLIN 0007: 4CW100000 Rebuild CLIN 0008: 4CW100000 New CLIN 0009: SWT Rebuild CLIN 0010: SWT New CLIN 0011: 4CW100000A Rebuild (FMS) CLIN 0012: 4CW10000A New (FMS) CLIN 0013: 4CW10000B Rebuild (FMS) CLIN 0014: 4CW10000B New (FMS) CLIN 0015: 4CW30000 Rebuild (FMS) CLIN 0016: 4CW30000 New (FMS) CLIN 0017: 4CW100000 Rebuild (FMS) CLIN 0018: 4CW100000 New (FMS) CLIN 0019: SWT Rebuild (FMS) CLIN 0020: SWT New (FMS) CLIN 0021: Shipping (FMS) CLIN 0022: CDRLs/Technical Data Requirements SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Communications & Power Industries (CPI), Econco Division, 1318 Commerce Ave, Woodland, CA, 95778-5908 (Cage Code 5K166) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. CPI Econco Division is the only source which has the capability to manufacture/repair the 4CW, Single Duty (SD) and Double Duty (DD) Switch (SWT) Tetrode Tubes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this anticipated contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Solicitation will NOT be posted to sam.gov due to its Sole Source nature of the procurement. The solicitation will be issued directly to CPI, Econco Division, on or around 11 March 2024, with an estimated award date of 31 July 2025.
