- Amendment 0001 (attached) to SIR 6973GH-24-R-00039 is issued to extend the close date of the SIR from 01/18/2024 to 02/16/2024. SIR Attachment 1 (attached) has been revised to include a new period of performance. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for Boeing 737 MAX (-8, -9) Pilot Qualification Training for Flight Standards (AFB) Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASI) and Aircraft Certification (AIR) Flight Test Pilots employed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Award will be made to the Lowest-Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror deemed responsible and whose proposal is responsive to the solicitation requirements. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with 1-year base period with four (4), 1-year option periods per aircraft. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached SIR and supporting document(s). If downloading is not possible, all request for copies of the SIR documents(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Gib Park, Contracting Specialist (AAQ-740), via e-mail at gilbert.n.park@faa.gov. Any and all questions pertaining to this SIR should be submitted in writing to the contract specialist at, gilbert.n.park@faa.gov by 3:00 p.m. CST on January 2, 2024 to allow for adequate response time. No questions will be allowed after that date and time. Technical and cost proposals must be received by the FAA no later than 5:00 P.M. CST, January 18, 2024 (extended to February 16, 2024 on SIR Amendment 0001).� Proposals must be submitted electronically to gilbert.n.park@faa.gov, and addressed with the SIR Number 6973GH-24-R-00039. All submittals will need to allow sufficient time to process through security procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, ""Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals,"" any proposals received after the due time and date of 5:00 p.m. CST, January 18, 2024 (extended to February 16, 2024 on SIR Amendment 0001), will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. The SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation.
