Description

This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24224B0013, Project Number 526-18-112 480V Switchgear Inspection Testing and Maintenance at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx NY 10468. This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238210 and has a size standard of $19 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials and perform all work associated with the 480V Switchgear Inspection Testing and Maintenance statement of work. This project includes the following equipment that was found to require immediate maintenance and testing. The circuit breakers to be provided maintenance and testing are currently racked-into the switchgear within MSS1 and MSS2 and are currently NOT-IN-USE. These circuit breakers are in the OPEN position. The Testing Company shall remove each circuit breaker to be provided maintenance and testing and re-install the circuit breaker into the same cubicle after maintenance and testing. Please see the attached Statement of Work. Project Completion: 180 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about February 2nd, 2024. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be emailed. Faxed or hand carried bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in www.veterans.certify.sba.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
