- Description
- The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to release a Request For Proposal (RFP) for an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for securing the services of an Integrator for the procurement of an Antarctic Research Vessel (ARV). This IDIQ is intended to be single-award. The ordering period is anticipated to be ten years from the date of award. Work is anticipated to take place at contractor locations. This release qualifies as a pre-solicitation synopsis for the ARV Integrator requirement, required in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.201. A solicitation for this procurement will be released no earlier than 2 February 2024. This notice does not guarantee the release of a solicitation, or a release of the solicitation on this date. The RFP will be subject to full-and-open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541330 and the size standard for this NAICS code is $47M. The Product Service Code is C216 Architect and Engineering- General: Marine Engineering. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov by the award date. Links are provided at the bottom of this notice to other releases related to this requirement. This notice does not constitute a procurement solicitation. This notice does not commit NSF to contract for any supply or service nor wed NSF to any particular contract type or process. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party�s expense and any information provided under this notice is purely voluntary. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future competition or participation in future subcontract opportunities which may arise. NSF expects to release any future solicitation regarding this matter at the Federal Point of Entry, www.sam.gov.
