Description
1.� Purpose� THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole-source procurement action to TACMED Simulation, INC. for tactical medical manikins and medical training support. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is pursuant to FAR PART 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources to provide equipment and on-site training services and determine if this effort can be competitive. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited. The Government will use this information to determine the best future acquisition strategy for this procurement. 2. Program Information The Contractor shall provide rental and on-site technical support for one (1)� male, one (1) female and one (1) military working dog manikin for Arctic Edge 24 Training on Camp Mad Bull, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK from 4-6 March 2024. Manikins must be rugged, durable and reliable in cold weather field conditions to provide real world, authentic training experience.� Manikins should provide real time feedback to trainees to include vitals, tourniquet application, chest placement, ect.� Contractor will provide realistic training scenarios from the point-of-injury throughout the continuum of care by performing critical life-saving tasks that follow the MARCH algorithm. 3. Capabilities Description The contractor�s primary technical services shall be performed by individuals who are trained, qualified and experienced in conducting advanced medical training and must have full knowledge of the provided medical training devices.� The contractor must prove realistic training scenarios related to Arctic casualty case in an austere field environment. 4.� Required Information a) The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 332999, which has a corresponding Size Standard of 750 employees. The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses, as well as SB Teams. The government requests that interested parties who are capable of meeting this requirement respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years.
