01/17/2024 -�Please see the attached questions and Answers regarding Chequamegon � Nicolet NF Lakewood TSI Release � solicitation# 12363N24Q4024. All TSI locations are located on the Lakewood/Laona Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Oconto County, Wisconsin Area LKLN 1-1 thru 1-13 � 285 total acres Area 1-1, 1-2, and 1-4 - Full Plant White Pine, Red Pine, and Tamarack � Full Area Tree Release. Remove all submerchantable species less than 5� (DO NOT cut Conifers or Birch). Focus is on releasing planted White Pine, Red Pine, and Tamarack. Area 1-3, 1-5 through 1-6, and 1-13 - Full Plant White Pine and Red Pine � Full Area Tree Release. Remove all submerchantable species less than 5� (DO NOT cut Conifers or Birch). Focus is on releasing planted White Pine and Red Pine. Area 1-8 and 1-12 � Full Plant with Jack Pine � Full Area Tree Release. Remove all submerchantable species less than 5� (DO NOT cut Conifers or Birch). Focus is on releasing planted Jack Pine. Area 1-9 through 1-11 � Underplant with White Pine � Full Area Tree Release. Remove all submerchantable species less than 5� (DO NOT cut Conifers or Birch). Focus is on releasing planted White Pine.
