- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS and is not a pre-solicitation announcement.� The purpose of this Market Research and Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential business firms that have the technical capabilities and capacity required of the government.� Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the Government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) is looking for vendors who can support the following requirement for NEFSC location 28 Tarzwell Drive, Narragansett, Rhode Island 02882. The requirement is for full preventative maintenance service (base plus four (4) option years) for government owned Cummins diesel generator, Model DFAC 5569711.�� Anticipated Period of Performance:� �February 15, 2024 through February 14, 2029 General Requirements:� Contractor and subcontractors working under this contract shall be fully knowledgeable and skilled in the maintenance of Cummins Diesel Generator, model�DFAC 5569711.� Contractor shall ensure at all times the Work is accomplished in accordance with the terms and conditions of any resulting contract in a safe and professional manner.�� The requirement is for maintenance and inspection service two times per calendar year (approximately 6 months apart): One Major Preventive Maintenance Service (prior to winter months) and one Minor Preventative Maintenance Service� (in early summer). NOTE: The last PM completed on the generator was a Major PM in June of 2023. The Major Preventative Maintenance (PM) service shall also include switchgear inspection, battery testing, filter changes and fluid changes.� All major PM�s shall be tested and operated after servicing to insure working order. The Minor Preventive Maintenance Service shall include, but are not limited to, all fluid level checks, operation check, and switchgear operation checks. The vendor shall provide on-call emergency service, within 24 hours, to ensure limited down time in event of a generator failure. The emergency service may require replacement parts and/or upgrades. From the emergency service call vendor shall inspect, evaluate and provide a Condition Found Report with price quote to the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) and Contracting Officer (CO).� Quote shall include number of labor hours and/or materials/supplies/parts required to bring the equipment into operational status.� Quotes will be based on anticipated number of labor hours to complete the repair (pre-determined hourly rate for established business hours and non-business hours, holidays and weekends) and materials/supplies/parts required (supported by actual receipts for billing purposes; with a pre-determined percentage for mark-up).� The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811310, with a size standard of $12.5M. ALL INTERESTED AND CAPABLE FIRMS SHALL PROVIDE, IN WRITING: VERIFICATION THAT YOUR COMPANY HAS THE CAPABILITIES TO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE; PROVIDE A CAPABILITY STATEMENT AND CERTIFICATION OF AUTHORITY TO WORK ON CUMMINS DIESEL GENERATOR; INCLUDE YOUR FIRM'S NAME, ADDRESS, POINT OF CONTACT, TELEPHONE NUMBER, AND EMAIL ADDRESS;� PROVIDE FIRM'S UEI NUMBER, CAGE CODE, BUSINESS TYPE AND SIZE, I.E.
