- Description
- This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, and will be processed on a competed, full and open basis in accordance with the procedures found at FAR subpart 6.1. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department intends to solicit - on behalf of the Department of Defense (DOD) Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) - for the procurement of initial (screen) immunoassay for the detection of both of the designer amphetamines, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA), in urine to be used with existing AU5800 analyzers. The proposed acquisition will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) purchase order with a five (5) year ordering period from 21 February 2024 - 20 February 2029. The maximum quantities anticipated with this IDIQ is as follows: - Up to 500,000 tests per month or 6,000,000 tests annually The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition is 325413 (In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing), which has a small business size standard of 1,250 (number of employees). The Product Service Code (PSC) for the proposed acquisition is 6550 (In-Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets). The resultant solicitation will be issued on a negotiated basis IAW FAR Part 12 and 13.5 procedures. It is anticipated that the resultant solicitation will be posted around 29 November 2023.
