- The Technology Applications Program Office (TAPO) is conducting market research in support of the requirement described in this announcement.� The objective of this market research is to identify potential sources and if there are small business sources capable of performing the requirement. The Government will use the information received for acquisition planning purposes. Source responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for possible requirements. This notice shall not be construed as an RFP or as any commitment or obligation on the part of the Government to issue a solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request, so proposals will not be considered. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. While responses are not mandatory, interested sources should note that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence the Government�s acquisition strategy. Requirement: USSOCOM Program Executive Office, Rotary Wing (PEO RW) is seeking to identify interested parties in the area of Next Generation Aircraft Survivability Equipment for integration onto its highly modified fleet of rotary wing aircraft, specifically the Special Operations Aviation (SOA) modified Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), MH-60M Black Hawk, and MH-47G Chinook.� Offerors should show ability to detect and defeat current and projected threats to low flying aircraft in a contested threat environment.� Systems should be suitable for the rotary wing environment and mission parameters and should incorporate Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) attributes such as the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) and/or comply with the Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF). NAICS Code: The Agency has tentatively assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334511 to the requirement but interested sources can recommend other NAICS Codes for agency consideration. Submission Instructions: Responses via email are due 31 January 2023 to Mr. Ryan Edmonds, Email: ryan.s.edmonds.civ@socom.mil and Chase Brasher, Email:chase.w.brasher.civ@socom.mil.� Responses must include the information requested below. Responses greater than twenty pages (including all attachments) will not be considered. Late responses will not be accepted. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain any questions at this time. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government appreciates industry�s interest and thanks interested companies in advance for responding to the Sources Sought. Qualified sources shall submit a statement of interest on sources letterhead demonstrating the source�s qualifications to perform the defined work. Responses must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information. Include a brief statement as to why each prior contract is relevant to this sources sought notice and other relevant information. In addition, include proof of satisfactory past performance on the contracts with customer points of contact.
