Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source, Fixed Price contract modification to Ultra Electronics ICE (CAGE 5Y111) in Manhattan, KA for the procurement of labor and travel for LoZ capacitance voltages data collection for all platforms the FCTS supports. The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" Ultra Electronics is the design activity and is the OEM of the Fuel Control Test Set. Gathering Low Impedance (LoZ) output signal voltage data is input to the capacitance simulation circuit design for the Fuel Control Test Set ECP. Without this Low Impedance (LoZ) output signal voltage data, the current ECP effort will not be able to be completed. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
