Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) and US Department of Agricultural Forest Service (USFS) requires Behavior Health Support Services for wildland fire positions the DOI and USFS employs who endure months of irregular hours, exposure to intense environmental conditions, challenges to family and personal life and increased risk of mental and physical harm. The agencies that fall under the DOI (Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service and Bureau of Indian Affairs) and USFS are working to establish a joint wildland firefighter behavioral health program that includes various components � including access to counseling and training services to support wildland firefighters. Responses are sought from interested businesses capable of offering these services on a national scale. This announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation nor a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This request does not commit the Government to contract for any supplies or services whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement; all costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on System for Award Management (SAM.gov). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this requirement is 621330 � Offices of Mental Health Practitioners (except Physicians). The small business size standard is $9 million. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.
