Description: NOAA intends to award a sole-source contract to Scintec Corporation under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, using SAP up to $7.5M as authorized by FAR 13.500(a) and implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The requirement is for four 449 MHz, LAP-8000 wind profilers, including all hardware, electronics, and installation, to improve fire weather monitoring over the interior mountainous region of the Western U.S. Please see the attached Synopsis memorandum for further information.
