Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of meeting the qualification requirements for the following item: �NSN 1660-016050501, Insulation Blanket. �This item is currently manufactured by Honeywell International, Cage 70210, P/N 2311149-3 and Applied Composite Structures, Inc., Cage 8N007, P/N C-00916-5. The Weapon System Designator Code is CXN. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only. �This is not a request for an offer. �This does not constitute as a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. �Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. �No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. �Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. Since this is a source controlled item, DLA cannot approve sources for this item. If your company �is interested in qualifying their product for purposes of future acquisitions you must contact the design control activity specified on the source control drawing. Responses to this sources sought notice must be received by January 30, 2023, 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.� �
