Description
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QOUTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), TRF Bangor, in support of a NIMITZ class aircraft carrier requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)��repairs/replacements to (8) HPACs and (1) SSAC. Curtiss-Wright is to perform the OEM technical repair; provide all parts and supplies; deliver and install all replacement parts; complete inspection and operational testing of the Ship�s equipment in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drawings and OEM repair standards. All repairs must be completed and unit successfully restored and tested by 05/03/2024 for No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 HPACs and No. 2 SSAC in order to return the ship back to the Fleet and meet mission scheduling. The Government�s minimum needs have been verified by the certifying technical and requirements personnel. The contract is expected too be awarded under FAR 13.5. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QOUTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirment no later than December 06, 2023 10 AM, PDT. A determination not to compete this requirment, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 400) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.�Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR HPAC 4-12 and No. 2 SSAC in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Officer, Robert Centeno via Contract Specialist, Jesse Schimke by email at jesse.e.schimke.civ@us.navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
