Description

The purpose of thie synopsis is to notify industry that a sole source contract action, below the SImplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) is intended to be awarded to a service-disabled veteran owned small business concern, McChrystal Group LLC, under the authority of Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1. This sole source contract award shall be made on or after December 9th, 2023.�The Government needs a unified and comprehensive strategy to deal with the opioid crisis (especially fentanyl). To create a lasting and effective system to counter fentanyl, many agencies involved in law enforcement, investigation and intelligence need to work together. This contract is for reviewing the progress of the previous fentanyl roundtable, which was the first big step to create that system. The contract also includes planning and running (with the help of experts) a roundtable discussion among Government agencies that fight the fentanyl supply chain and recording their agreements and actions. The Government has decided, and has the right, not to compete this contract with other businesses. This is the summary of the contract.
