Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.� This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-01 and DFARS Change Notice 10/30/2023. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far ���and�� http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/change_notices.html. The NAICS code is 611699. The small business size standard is $16.5 Milion. The Government intends to negotiate and award the resulted contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis to Sargent Aerospace & Defense. The�Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) intends on procuring training for 10 Persons through a sole source solicitation to Sargent Aerospace & Defense (CAGE: 78062), who hold the proprietary rights to Hydraulic Control Valves and therefore are the only company who can provide this training.�This course will consist of classroom instruction and hands-on training. Period of Performance: February 5, 2024 through February 8, 2024
