Answer: The period of performance (POP) was extended from 17 November 2023 to 15 January 2024 to December 1, 2023 November 3, 2025. 2) Question: Solicitation states work is to be completed Monday Friday 8 am to 430 pm, excluding Federal Holidays. Will the contractor be allowed to work weekends? This information is needed to determine staffing requirements to meet the Period of Performance deadline. Additionally, areas such as main entrances that need to be barricaded off, really should be cleaned on weekends. Answer: Yes, the vendor will have to work weekends as schedule by VA. 3) Question: The solicitation and pricing sheet reference annual multiple times. Is this a one time or are there option years? Answer: The price cost /schedule sheet shows the (POP) period of performance changing from 2 months to a base and (1) one option year, invoicing quarterly. 4) Question: Has or will there be a site visit? Answer: All areas are within the same location. 7) Question: The solicitation was just posted, and the proposals are due on November 14th. This does not allow for bidders to give enough time for past performance reference to be completed by sources in a timely manner. Will the due date be extended? Answer: The solicitation has been amended to extend the response date to November 20, 2023, at 7AM. 8) Question: Page 3of7 para. 7 states, pressure wash and cleaning but not limited Main Hospital Building. Could you please explain the intent of this sentence. Does it mean that other buildings other than building 110 could require additional pressure washing? We are unclear on what this means. Answer: Only bldg.110, courtyard, and canopies that are listed within the (PWS) performance work Statement. 9) Question: Solicitation states work is to be completed Monday Friday 8 am to 430 pm, excluding Federal Holidays. 10) Question: Is there an incumbent for this project? And if so, would I be able to look at the previous contract or the contract number? Answer: This is a new requirement; any other previous or other contract information require a FOIA request. 11. Question: I'm still very interested in providing a solid bid for your solicitation. Just unsure of the location of Building 110. Can you confirm if the attached photo is of the Area of Operations and possible point out the courtyard area, please. Answer: I cannot confirm this photo, it looks almost like the Facility.
