- Description
- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is issuing solicitations to obtain the services of real estate appraisers to provide Rent Comparability Studies (RCS) for HUD in one designated geographic regions of the United States. The region is listed below: Region III: Southwest, based in Fort Worth, the states are; Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The government anticipates releasing the solicitation between the months December 2023-March 2024, each with a unique solicitation number. Southwest (III) � Solicitation # 86614124R00005 The Contractor will perform the services (projects) in their designated region if selected for award. The government intends to limit competition to small businesses, who meet the $9.5 Million small business size standard applicable to North American Industry Classification System code 531320, Offices of Real Estate Appraisers and Product Service Code R411, Professional-Real Property Appraisals. The government anticipates making more than one award (multiple award) in the region listed but reserves the right to make fewer awards based on agency need. Each award will be a Blanket-Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a five-year period of performance under a firm-fixed unit price. HUD is procuring these services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation will be published through the System for Award Management at SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor SAM.gov for the release of the solicitation and all attachments. HUD will not honor any written or telephone requests. All prospective offerors shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The solicitation will not be available in paper format. Businesses may obtain information on registration at SAM.gov.
