Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District is seeking a contractor to supply one construction-type Telehandler to the Government on a rental basis for approximately 19 weeks. The telehandler would be delivered to Lock & Dam 2 in Hastings, MN as soon as possible (on or before 11/20/2023), with a tentative pickup date of March 29, 2024. No deliveries or pickups on weekends or holidays.� PLEASE NOTE: This solicitation is for rental of the telehandler only. The telehandler will be operated by a qualified Government employee. Do not quote rates for telehandler operations that include an operator. The Telehandler shall have a carry capacity of at least 10,000 lbs and a 40 ft. lift height. The telehandler must be equipped with stabilizers, a fully enclosed cab and heat. The contractor shall quote a weekly rate for the telehandler and include the cost for transportation of the telehandler to and from the jobsite, on- and off-loading, as well as any required routine maintenance during the rental period. Telehandler shall be less than 2 years old at the start of the job. Contractor shall be responsible for transportation to and from the job site, as well as loading and unloading. Please DO NOT place limitations on the operating hours or insurance requirements on your offer. As part of the Federal Government, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is self-insured. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation. NAICS Code: 532412 Size Standard: $40,000,000 average annual revenues Please include the manufacturer, model numbers, and specifications (i.e. cut sheets) of all equipment your firm is offering to supply, to ensure that it meets specifications. ALTERNATE UNIT PROPOSALS accepted. If your firm offers discounts for rental of equipment by the Month or Week, Please include that information in your offer. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation. Quotes must be RECEIVED no later than the Offer Due Date/Time listed in the SAM.gov solicitation posting. Quotes received after the deadline are considered late, and may not be considered for award.
