- Description
- Questions and Responses Do all routes need to start at the Chillicothe VA to pickup empty coolers and/or supplies? Response: Yes Are any supplies delivered to the clinics from the Chillicothe VA? Response: Yes Paragraph 8 subsection A notes there will be sterile or soiled instrument bins transported. Can you elaborate on the estimated volume and any special handling needed for transporting sterile and soiled instruments? Which clinics would be included in the delivery of Sterile or soiled instrument bins? Response: This will be removed from the PWS. No sterile or soiled instruments are transported. Is there any flexibility on pickup times? There are a few clinics that can be routed together but are just over 1 hour driving time therefore would not comply with your one hour (3:30-4:30) pickup window. Response: Yes, the pick-up time could be adjusted to arrive on time at Chillicothe. Will all locations listed be operational and need courier service at the start of this contract? Response: Yes Does the VA anticipate any locations closing during the POP of this contract? Response: No, But in the case where a location closes or relocates, the Government will entertain appropriate and fair changes in rates for that delivery/pickup. The solicitation lists 852.219-76 for Limits on Subcontracting Certificate. Please confirm that is the Certificate we need to include or if 852.219-75 that addresses services would be a better fit. Response: This Amendment will change 852.219-76 for 852.219-75. could you please provide the maximum of the quanity , weight, dimension and the lbs of the supplies that need to be transport? Response: Normally, supplies would fit in the empty bags, 18 w x 9 D x 13 H that are used by the couriers weighing no more than 5lbs. Occasionally, a tote, 21 x 15 x 12 weighing no more than 20 lbs ***NOTE TO OFFERORS*** Offerors SHALL do all the following or they will be eliminated from completion as being non-compliant.
