Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order for preventative and corrective maintenance for one (1) Aztec micsF+/x-stream2/X-Max50 Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) system and its accessories. Proposed Contractor: OXFORD INSTRUMENTS 300 BAKER AVENUE, SUITE 150 CONCORD, MA 01742-2121 UEID: QK66A86PKE67 CAGE: 1EPT2 The authority used for the sole source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The intended period of performance is a base year with four (4) option years. Base year: 12/9/2023-12/8/2024 Option year 1: 12/9/2024-12/8/2025 Option year 2: 12/9/2025-12/8/2026 Option year 3: 12/9/2026-12/8/2027 Option year 4: 12/9/2027-12/8/2028 This announcement constitutes the only notification of the ATF�s intent to solicit on a sole source basis.� A formal combined synopsis/solicitation will not occur.� All solicitation communication will occur directly with the proposed contractor. This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13�Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Items.� It is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The notice of award and the written sole source justification will be posted after award.
