- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials and services to provide ambulance services for the UNITED STATES ARMY GARRISON HIGH SCHOOLS at various locations within the designated areas. The vendor shall provide one ambulance vehicle, medical technician and an ambulance driver. The vehicle, medical technician and ambulance driver shall be present at each sporting event. The vehicle, medical technician and ambulance driver shall be present at each sporting event. The duration of each event is 3 to 4 hours, typically from 1300 hrs - 1630 hrs or 1530-1930 hrs. The ambulance needs to arrive a half hour prior to start of each game. Ambulance personnel shall speak enough English to communicate with patients and points of contact. Contractor personnel shall be able to treat typical injuries for the covered contact sporting events such as sprains, muscle pulls and tears, broken bones as well as neck and back injuries. Ambulance personnel will also be required to draw blood in case of an emergency to test the Blood Alcohol Content of certain individuals.�At a minimum, one (1) ambulance personnel shall be a trained Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or German equivalent or higher to provide services. The ambulance personnel are expected to provide on-site medical support for minor injuries such as cuts and bruises that would not require evacuation for further medical treatment. If the patient requires further treatment, the supporting ambulance will request an additional emergency vehicle to come to site, pick up the patient, and transport to the nearest hospital for treatment. The on-site vehicle shall remain in place for the duration of the sporting event(s) scheduled for that day. Contractor shall gain signature from authorized callers listed below to verify services were received. Contractor shall then submit invoices and signed acceptance documentation to authorized approval source for payment. Place of Contract Performance: UNITED STATES ARMY GARRISON HIGH SCHOOLS located at the following locations IN GERMANY: USAG Bamberg, Germany USAG Katterbach, Germany USAG Ansbach, Germany USAG Schweinfurt, Germany USAG Bavaria to include the following (Grafenwoehr, Vilseck, Hohenfels) in Germany.
