Description

Amended Pre-solicitation Notice for Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 The Government intends to issue a Modification to Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 to procure nine (09) additional M88A2 vehicles.� Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 was awarded to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. (BAE), Cage Code: �06085, on a sole source basis for one-year under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, and 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) �Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Suppliers or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements�.� BAE is the developer and manufacturer of the M88 Family of Vehicles.� The Technical Data Package is source controlled by BAE and is non-competitive. A Modification to Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 is targeted for release on 15 November 2023.� This is an amended pre-solicitation notice (otherwise known as a synopsis).� Further inquiries may be addressed to Randy Hoffman at randy.t.hoffman2.civ@army.mil for information requests. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This announcement is not a request for proposals. �Contractors shall not submit proposals in response to this notice.
