- NOTICE OF INTENT THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract to L3 Technologies, Inc., 275 Martine St., Suite 301, Fall River, Massachusetts 02723-1500. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for maintenance services and materials for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). This requirement is for Naval Oceanography Special Warfare Center (NOSWC) located in Coronado, CA. NOSWC needs maintenance and repair services for one of their current Iver3 systems, which are a family of AUVs, in order to sustain a fully operational Iver inventory. The Contractor shall provide trained and qualified personnel to perform the maintenance service and repairs listed here for NOSWC�s Iver3-733 vehicle: - Labor and testing for a Level 2 Complexity Repair, including basic in-water pond factory acceptance test (FAT) - Iver3 Battery section tube - Three joiner rings: one for the Antenna/DVL section, one for the motor mount to battery section tube, and one for the tube to tube - Shipping and Handling In addition, the Contractor shall do the following: - Notify the requiring activity point of contact (POC) upon completion of maintenance service and repairs. - Provide a complete legibly written or typed report of the maintenance service and repairs to the requiring activity POC within three (3) business days after maintenance service and repairs are completed. The report shall be detailed. The anticipated award date of this action is on or before November 6, 2023. The applicable NAICS code is 334511. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the licenses and proof as being an authorized distributor of the product. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order. Capability statements are due by 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST), October 26, 2023.
