Sources Sought Identification Number: W9128F24SM004 This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for market research purposes only.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID.� NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify sources (Small Businesses and Other-than-Small Businesses) that have the knowledge, skills, and capability to perform the work concerning the potential project described below.� The Government requests responses from POTENTIAL PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS WITH COMPANY BONDING CAPABILITY (SINGLE JOB) FOR A CONSTRUCTION COST LIMITATION WITHIN THE RANGE OF PROJECT MAGNITUDE LISTED BELOW.� Responses to this sources-sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions for this project. Responses are to be sent via email to Nancy Garside, gloria.garside@usace.army.mil, and courtesy copy Shawn Adkins, shawn.a.adkins@usace.army.mil, no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, 31 October 2023.� Questions or concerns surrounding small business matters can be sent to cenwo-sb@usace.army.mil.� Please include the Sources Sought Notice Identification Number in the subject line of the email submission. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for a Construction for a Resilient Surveillance Mission Cooling Water Supply Well at Buckley Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado; which will require the contractor to provide the government with a complete water well project and warranty based on the Request for Proposal (RFP).� Estimate of the magnitude of this project is Between $5M and $10M. This project will Construct a resilient non potable water well to replace the existing nonoperational well as a source of backup water inside the PL-1 mission area at Buckley SFB, CO.�� The main goals is to abandon the existing non potable water well in place, remove the existing underground storage tank if possible, demolish existing pump house which will include HEMP shielding, piping, and other water distribution system components,� construct a new well into the lower aprapahoe aquifer, construct a new 1,000 SF pre-engineered pump house with HEMP equipment protection, construct a tie between the well and the cooling tower sump for automated switch over between the primary (City) and backup (well), demolish the existing well production water meter and replace with new one, and provide security escort during Construction.� Project will need to meet Uptime Tier IV requirements in water pumps and Electrical power source for backup water system.� SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, capable, qualified (under NAICS code 237110) and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this market survey request.� Interested PRIME CONTRACTORS ONLY should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in construction projects of similar nature as described above.� Narratives shall be no longer than 10 pages.� Email responses are required. Please include the following information in your response/narrative: Company name, address, and point of contact, with phone number and email address. CAGE Code and Unique Entity ID number Business size, including any official teaming arrangements as a partnership or joint venture Information on your bonding capability - SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFY CAPACITY OF PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS, as individual and aggregate. Similar projects, please include: Project name, location, and status (Prime or Sub) Project references (including owner�s phone number and email address) Project cost, term, and description of complexity Note: Responses will be shared with the Government and the project management team, but otherwise held in strict confidence. AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN RESPONSES FROM COMPANIES WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO BE PRIME CONTRACTORS WITH BONDING CAPABILITY (SINGLE JOB) FOR A CONSTRUCTION COST LIMITATION WITHIN THE RANGE OF PROJECT MAGNITUDE LISTED ABOVE.� ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE FIRST QUARTER OF FISCAL YEAR 2024 (FY24).
