- Description
- The Airborne ASW contract provides services to the NAWC-AD Patuxent River Airborne ASW Battlespace Division in support of engineering services to perform tasks in support NAWCAD and NAVAIR avionics, sensors, and e warfare related technology and systems. Tasking includes assisting with requirements definition; solution definition; integration and installation; verification and validation; and operation and sustainment. Efforts involve the integration and installation of avionics systems and equipment; the update and modernization of existing systems and equipment; and the use of legacy, current, and emerging engineering technologies to meet unique requirements. This contract supports major Acquisition Category ACAT-1 Program Management Activities PMAs, providing mission essential Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare software development, hardware development, integration, testing, Model Based Systems Engineering support, and fleet mission support. This ceiling increase is critical to the successful execution and delivery of technology and capability roadmap development required to support the warfighter real time and in future operations. This contract action is to modify the current Airborne ASW contract to increase contract ceiling value from $94,878,560.20 to $192,957,477.92, an increase of $98,078,917.72 to support SCI tasking requirements. The TS/SCI tasking was added on 27 June 2022 to contract N0042120D0123 due to unforeseen classification increases of programs mission levels as dictated in the Security Class Guides (SCGs). The Airborne ASW contracts period of performance will end 28 September 2025. The proposed action is for the service and supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" This modification will allow the same services to procure up to the TS/SCI level. To competitively procure the same services at the TS/SCI level, the Government would incur substantial delays to programs and substantial costs that could not be recovered through competition. These services will be competed in the follow-on to the contract N00421-20-D-0123. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will all information received within 15 calendar days of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the received of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. No telephone responses will be accepted. For information, contact Courtney Burgos at courtney.l.burgos.civ@us.navy.mil.
